The Delicious Restaurant was created in 2005 by Phnom Penh, a passionate Khmer with an incredible talent in the kitchen. His love for cooking first started when as a child he watched his grandmother cook in the beautiful hills of Tuscany.

Dara came to Cambodia in 2000 and stayed in the capital for five years where he had a number of jobs and he built a hospital. Subsequently he moved to Siem Reap as a tour guide and thought of the idea of opening an Italian restaurant. He purposely chose to open the restaurant in the outskirts of the city as he did not want the enormous crowds filling the roads of the busy “Pub Street” in the centre of town.

He deliberately avoided the masses in order to fulfil his dream of opening an “Oasi” which would best combine his Italian dishes and the surrounding harmony and atmosphere. Titi Head Chef Mr. Tae Yang was hired by Dara 5 years ago and has ever since been an extraordinary asset for the business.

As the Cambodian partner of “Oasi” Titi works very hard and never complains. His overwhelming smile is one of those you never forget; he certainly knows how to retain his customers.
